American McGee's Alice Mad Hatter Fleece Hat!

Made of non-pill fleece

This was a very time consuming piece! Each symbol was cut out and sewn on individually. The brim is wired to stay nicely out, and the inner has a piece of poster board to keep the hat staying comfortably up without being too heavy.

It was a bit of a challenge to find the best way to keep it upright. I originally tried polyfil, but the hat stayed too top heavy, so I used the poster board insert that can easily be removed for storage or cleaning. I may try wiring the entire inside for future endeavors, but I was on a time crunch, and it actually worked out magnificently.
